Alexander "Alex" Allmashy Obituary


Alexander "Alex" Robert Allmashy, 78, of New Bern, NC passed away on Friday, September 24, 2021. Alex was born June 1, 1943 in Greenwich, Connecticut to Alexander Allmashy and Anna Moore Allmashy.

Alex retired from Pitney Bowes as a Facilities Operation Manager. He had a second career at H&R Design before settling in New Bern. He was an avid Yankee's fan, and enjoyed bowling, golf, fishing, and grilling. He was a Parishioner of St. Paul's Catholic Church and a member of The Knights of Columbus Council 3303.

He is predeceased by his parents and his sister Barbara and husband Sal Bambara.  Surviving him are his loving wife, Mary Ann Malone Allmashy; two sons, Stephen (Tina) Allmashy of Danbury, CT and Kevin (Rachel) Allmashy of Rye Brook, NY;  grandchildren Angelica and Alex Allmashy of Danbury, Nicholas and Victoria Allmashy of Rye Book, and stepgrandson Michael  Benson;  3 nieces; and 1 grand-nephew.

Visitation will be 2-6PM on Sunday October 3, 2021 at Craft Memorial Home, Inc.
 Mass of Christian Burial will be 10AM on Monday October 4, 2021 at St. Paul RC Church 84 Sherwood Ave. Greenwich, Ct. Interment to follow at St. Mary's Cemetery, Rye Brook NY .
