Allan John MacDonald

Allan John MacDonald, 82, formerly from Port Chester, NY, passed away peacefully, at his home in Clearwater, FL. Allan was born in Mt. Vernon, NY on June 5, 1941 to the late Louis and Emma (Sabo) MacDonald.
He was proud of his service in the Marine Corps and continued to make the world a safe place with his 30-plus years working at the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms (ATF). He retired as a Resident Agent in Charge of the New Haven, CT office of ATF. Allan was an avid reader and loved discussing politics, books and current events with friends and family.
In addition to his parents, Allan was predeceased by his loving wife, Ann MacDonald in 1996. Allan, known to his loved ones as a devoted father, grandfather, and friend, is survived by his daughters, Heather (Keith) Menzel and Holly (John) Diamond, his son, Sean (Lisa) MacDonald, and his grandchildren, Taylor and McKinley Menzel, Luke and Jack Diamond, and Emelia MacDonald.
A gathering to honor Allan's life will be held on Friday October 13, 2023 at 11am with a service at 12 noon at Craft Memorial Home, Inc. in Port Chester, NY.
Allan John MacDonald will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who knew him. May his memory live on in our hearts forever.
