Angela Rose (Marando) Valbiro

Angela Rose Valbiro, 94, a resident of Rye Brook, NY died February 2, 2022. She was born May 22, 1927 in Port Chester to the late Joseph and Rose Suppa Marando. She was raised and educated in Port Chester graduating from Port Chester High School in 1945. She was married on December 7, 1947 at Holy Rosary Church to Frank F. Valbiro. Mr. Valbiro died September 8, 1971.  
Angela was a fashion designer and owner of Angela's Originals in Rye, NY.  Her talents as an artist ran the gamut from portraiture to event decor extraordinary.  Everything she touched became a glorious fantasy enjoyed by generations of family and friends .She was a dancer and choreographer known as "The Ann Miller of Westchester"for her rapid paced staccato tap and spins.
She is survived by her children Anthony Valbiro and his partner Bill Halliburton of Rye, NY., Pamela Mickatavage and her husband Robert G. of Port Chester, NY., and Candice Johnson and her husband Duane of New Bern, NC., grandchildren Frank Valbiro and his wife Lauren, Anthony Valbiro, Amanda Mickatavage and her partner Ryan Diaz, Robert F. Mickatavage, Andrew Johnson, Duane Johnson and step granddaughter Sara Johnson, great grandchildren Aurora Rose Valbiro, Charlee Rose Diaz, Lennox Alexander Diaz and step great granddaughter Azalea Johnson, brother Joseph Marando and his wife Joan of Port Chester, NY, sisters Joan Hanley and husband Ralph of Rye, NY. and Connie Varbero and husband Thomas of Somers, NY. and former daughter in law Maryann Valbiro and her partner Redick Wilson, Jr. of Port Chester, NY.

Besides her husband she was predeceased by her brother Vincent "Jimmy" Marando and sister Roseann DiVito. She is also survived by numerous nieces,nephews and cousins who affectionately called her "Aunt Jella" .Visitation will be 10am to 12 Noon on Wednesday February 9, 2022 at Craft Memorial Home, Inc.  A graveside service will follow at 12:30PM at Saint Mary's Cemetery 1 High St.  Rye Brook, NY
