Anthony "Nino" Lagana

Anthony "Nino" Lagana, 86, a resident of Rye, NY and formerly a longtime resident of Port Chester, NY died August 30, 2022.  He was born March 15, 1936 in Scilla, Reggio Calabria, Italy to the late Pasquale and Marianna Nicolo Lagana. He was raised and educated in Italy and immigrated to the United States in 1956. Mr. Lagana was married to Maria Grimaldi on June 20, 1965 at Holy Rosary Church in Port Chester, NY.  He was a fur designer and tailor for Saks 5th Avenue in New York City.  Mr. Lagana was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, father-in-law, brother-in-law and uncle. He is survived by his beloved wife Maria Lagana of Rye, NY., devoted daughters Marianna Cilauro and her husband Joseph of Port Chester, NY. and  Rocca Muto and her husband Frank of Port Chester, NY., grandchildren Christopher Cilauro, Angelica Muto and Brooke Muto, brother Domenico Lagana of Port Chester, NY. and several nieces and nephews.  He was predeceased by his brothers Santo and Rocco Lagana and sister Maria Pirrotta.
Visitation will be 4-8PM on Friday September 2, 2022 at Craft Memorial Home, Inc.  Mass of Christian Burial will be 10AM on Saturday September 3, 2022 at St. Paul RC Church 84 Sherwood Ave. greenwich, Ct.  Entombment to follow at St. Mary's Cemetery Rye Brook, NY.  Memorial donations in memory of Mr. Lagana may be made to the American Kidney Foundation
