Rye Brook – Patafio, Antoinette (Nettie) M. of Rye Brook, New York loved her family, baking and reading died peacefully on April 1, 2020 in Greenwich, Connecticut.
She was born Antoinette Mary Mutino on February 2, 1925 in Port Chester, New York to Jennie Qualiano Mutino and Peter Mutino. Her parents predeceased her.
Nettie graduated from Port Chester High School in 1943 and began her career at Russell, Burdsall & Ward Bolt and Nut Company (RB&W). She left RB&W when she married the love of her life, Clement Patafio, who survives her.
She is predeceased by her brothers Joseph (Joe), Pasquale (Pat), Alfred (Fred) and sisters Antoinetta Mutino and Louise Pappalardo.
In addition to her husband she is survived by her two children Joy and Clement and his wife Jennifer, and two cherished granddaughters Sarah and Caroline. Many beloved nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews, sister-in-laws Ann Mutino, Gloria Mutino, and Jenny Patafio Muto.
The family will be forever grateful to Dr. Sunil Rana and to Dr. Alexander DelVecchio of Greenwich Hospital for their many years of compassionate and professional care, to Kathleen Sharkey, and to the nurses and staff on the Garden Level at Nathaniel Witherell.
