Antonio Antolino, 86, a resident of Port Chester, NY since 1960, died peacefully at home surrounded by his family and loved ones. He was born in Andretta, Italy on February 18, 1936 to the late Francesco Antolino and Antonietta Mastrogiacomo Antolino. Mr. Antolino was married on September 7, 1958 in Andretta, Italy to Ersilia Pennetta. Together, they paved the way for all their siblings to come to America and settle into their new homes. Antonio worked at P. W. Nethercott Construction Company for 40 years as a stone mason and foreman. As a master stone cutter, he created beautiful works of art. He loved gardening, playing bocce and ‘scopa’. He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren, Saturday nights dancing at his home with family and friends, and Sunday gatherings at the beach. You could often hear him happily whistling throughout the day. He was loved by many and will truly be missed.
Mr. Antolino is survived by his beloved wife, Ersilia Antolino of Port Chester, NY., his devoted daughters, Annette Antolino Saleski and her husband Chuck Saleski of Rye Brook, NY., Nina Antolino Jagetic and her husband JackJagetic of Norwalk, CT., and Lisa Antolino Bonelli and her husband Peppino Bonelli of White Plains, NY., grandchildren Sofia Antolino Bonelli, Sabrina Bonelli and Noah Jagetic. He is also survived by his sister Nicolina Mastrogiacomo, his brother Luigi Antolino and wife Lucy, and many nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his step-mother Giuseppina Perna Antolino, brothers Pasquale Antolino and Angelo Antolino, and sisters Giuseppina Miele and Angelina Antolino.
Visitation will be 4-8PM on Sunday July 17, 2022 at Craft Memorial Home, Inc. 40 Leicester St. Port Chester, NY. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10AM on Monday July 18, 2022 at Parish of Saint John Bosco (Corpus Christi Church) 136 South Regent St. Port Chester, NY . Entombment to follow at Saint Mary's Cemetery Rye Brook, NY.
