Antonio Pirrotta, 80, a resident of Port Chester died peacefully December 5, 2020 surrounded by his loving family. He was born February 15, 1940 in Scilla, Reggio Calabria, Italy to the late Domenico and Antonia Bellantoni Pirrotta. He was raised and educated in Italy and was married there on December 18, 1965 to Giovanna Benedetto. Mr. Pirrotta was a machine operator at Arnolds Bakery and retired in 2003. He was a parishioner of Corpus Christi Church and a member of the Scilla Cariddi Social Club. He is survived by his wife Giovanna Pirrotta of Port Chester, son Carmelo Pirrotta (Luz Rodriguez) of Port Chester, NY, daughter Antonia Esposito (Michael Esposito) of New Fairfield, Ct., grandsons Andrew Esposito and Maxwell Rodriguez, sister Maria McMahon (Brien McMahon) of Norwalk, Ct., brothers Rocco Pirrotta of Rye Brook, NY., Mario Pirrotta of Norwalk, Ct. and Girolamo Pirrotta (Rosanna Pirrotta) of Rensselaer, NY. He was predeceased by his son Dominick Pirrotta and his brother Giuseppe Pirrotta.
Visitation will be 4-8PM on Tuesday December 8, 2020 at Craft Memorial Home, Inc. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10AM on Wednesday December 9, 2020 at Parish of St. John Bosco (Corpus Christi) 136 South Regent St. Port Chester, NY. Entombment to follow at St. Mary's Cemetery Rye Brook, NY. Memorial donations in memory of Mr. Pirrotta may be made to the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's Research or to the American Cancer Society.
