Aramita Licea Vaccaro, 97, a long time resident of Port Chester and Rye Brook, NY died December 29, 2019. She was born April 17, 1922 in Mexico City, Mexico to the late Salvador and Aramita Licea. She immigrated to the United States in 1923 and was raised and educated in Port Chester graduating from Port Chester High School in 1939. Mrs. Vaccaro was married September 9, 1947 to John Vaccaro. Mr. Vaccaro died July 14, 2014. She was a parishioner of Corpus Christi Church in Port Chester and St. Paul RC Church in Greenwich. Ct. She is survived by her sons John Vaccaro of Carmel, NY and Thomas Vaccaro of Glenville, NY., grandchildren Kristin Rejack and her husband Scott, Brian Vaccaro and Daniel Vaccaro, brother Alfred Licea of Rhode Island and sister Alice Keegan of Port Chester, NY. Besides her husband she was predeceased by her brother Salvador Licea and sisters Mary Fraioli, Lydia Magee, Delfina Barnes, Anita Prete and Rosario Pasacantando. Visitation will be 4-8PM on Friday January 3, 2020 at Craft Memorial Home, Inc. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10AM on Saturday January 4, 2020 at Parish of St. John Bosco (Corpus Christi) 136 South Regent St. Port Chester, NY. Interment to follow at Saint Mary's Cemetery Rye Brook, NY. Memorial donations in memory of Mrs. Vaccaro may be made to Calvary Home Hospice 1740 Eastchester Road Bronx, NY 10461
