Barbara Marchewka Obituary

Barbara M. Marchewka, 72, a resident of Rye Brook, NY died April 2, 2026. She was born November 18, 1953 in the Bronx to Arthur Turco and the late Liliana Vecellino Turco.  Barbara was raised and educated in the Bronx and graduated from Fairleigh Dickinson University.  She was a retired elementary school teacher having taught at Murray Avenue Elementary School in Larchmont, NY.

Barbara is survived by her longtime partner Robert Eisner of New City, NY., her father Arthur Turco of Palm Beach Garden, Fl. and her brother William Turco of Boca Raton, Fl.

Visitation will be 4-8PM on Friday April 10, 2026 at Craft Memorial Home, Inc.  A funeral service will be held 9:30AM on Saturday April 11, 2026 at the funeral home. Interment to follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery Valhalla, NY.

Memorial donations in memory of Barbara may be made to Columbia Children's Hospital supporting the division of Pediatric Hematology, Oncology & Stem Cell Transplantation at Columbia University Irving Medical Center
