Benito Grande

Benito Grande, 84, a resident of Port Chester, NY died October 20, 2025. He was born February 24, 1941 in Guardia Lombardi, Italy to the late Rocco and Agnesa Mastacciolo Grande. He was raised and educated in Italy and immigrated to the United States in 1980.  Benito was married October 28, 1962 in Italy to Gerarda Pennella.  He was a landscaper and also worked for Labor Union Local #141 in Elmsford, NY.  He was an avid hunter, relished gardening and playing cards. Benito loved family gatherings and enjoyed dancing. Mr. Grande was a parishioner of the Corpus Christi Church in Port Chester and was a member of IAPA.

He is survived by his beloved wife Gerarda Grande of Port Chester, NY., his devoted children Rocco Grande and his wife Julia of Port Chester, NY., and Michelina Valvano and her husband Feliciano, grandchildren Melina Valvano, Angelo Joseph Valvano and Valentina Valvano of Scarsdale, NY and sister Vita Grande of Italy.  He was predeceased by his son Baby Rocco Grande, brother Carmine Grande of Italy and grandson Baby Angelo Valvano.

Visitation will be 4-8PM on Thursday October 23, 2025 at Craft Memorial Home, Inc.  Mass of Christian Burial will be 10AM on Friday October 24, 2025 at Corpus Christi Church 136 South Regent St. Port Chester, NY
