Carmela Cammarota

Carmela Cammarota, 95, a lifelong resident of Port Chester, NY died July 9, 205.  She was born July 11, 1929 in Port Chester to the late Pater and Vita Esposito Cammarota.  She was raised and educated in Port Chester graduating from Port Chester High School in 1947.

She worked for the family owned Vaccaro Supermarket in Port Chester. When the store closed she was employed by the Bank of New York in Port Chester.

Carmela was predeceased by her brothers Daniel, Joseph and John Cammarota and sister Concetta White.

She is survived by many nieces and nephews.

The family would like to thank the staff of Greenwich Woods for the special care that was given to their aunt.

There will be no visitation

A Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30AM on Monday July 14, 2025 at Our Lady of Mercy Church 260 Westchester Ave. Port Chester, NY. Interment to follow at Saint Mary's Cemetery Rye Brook, NY
