Carmine Della Mura

Carmine Della Mura, 88, a resident of Mount Vernon, NY died April 2, 2020. He was born July 15, 1931 in Maiori, Salerno, Italy to the late Gennaro and Assunta Masolli Della Mura. He was raised and educated in Italy and was married September 11, 1960 to Carmelina Tagliamonte.  Mrs. Della Mura died December 31, 2014. Mr. Della Mura was retired from the City of Mount Vernon Water Department. He was a parishioner of the Saint Ursula Church in Mount Vernon and then the Saint Peter and Paul Church in Mount Vernon.  He is survived by his devoted sons, Jerry Della Mura (Debra) of Rye Brook, NY, Peter Della Mura (Andrea) of Rye Brook, NY., Anthony Della Mura (Gris) of Mount Vernon, NY and Salvatore Della Mura of New Rochelle, NY, grandchildren Gennaro Della Mura, Nicholas Della Mura, Tyler Della Mura, Anthony Chris Della Mura,  and C.J. Della Mura, brother Pietro Della Mura of Shrub Oak, NY, sisters Vincenza Minerva of Parsippany, NJ, Suora Chiara of Rome, Italy and Giovanna Coelho of Duluth, GA. Besides his wife he was predeceased by his brothers Antonio, Pietro and Antonio and sisters Suora Bibiana and Elena Della Mura.  
Due to the current COVID-19 Pandemic all funeral services are private
