Catherine Ann Monti

Catherine Ann Monti, 55, of Valley Cottage, NY passed away on Friday, July 10, 2020.  She was born on March 5, 1965 in Port Chester, NY to her loving parents Philip and Catherine Monti.  She was raised and educated in Port Chester and earned a bachelor’s degree from Iona College.  She spent many years as President of Allied Drilling Inc., in Sparkill, NY.  Cathy loved her family unconditionally and spending birthdays and holidays with them brought her tremendous joy.  She was kind and her heart was full of love.  She had a subtle witty way about her that made everyone love being around her.  Especially her family who absolutely adored her.  Cathy will remain in the hearts of her family and friends always.  She is survived by her son Devlin McDermott the center of her universe, her brother Carlo Monti, sisters Peggy (Joe) Carpenteri, Maryann (Rich) Romaner, brother Felix (Terri) Monti, sister Liz (Rich) Hudson, sister-in-law Kim and her nephews Tom, Joey, Stephen, Michael and Chris and nieces Mandi (Dom) and Faith, great nephews Dominic and Dylan.  She is also survived by her former husband Lawrence and the entire McDermott family.  She is predeceased by her father Philip Monti and her two brothers Lenny Monti and Mark (sister-in-law Patricia) Monti.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 9:30AM on Tuesday July 21, 2020 at Parish of Saint John Bosco (Our Lady of Mercy) 260 Westchester Ave. Port Chester, NY . Interment to follow at Greenwood Union Cemetery North St. Rye, NY. There will be no visitation.
