Catherine A. (Versace) Vitti

Catherine A. Vitti, 88, a lifelong resident of Port Chester passed away July 17, 2018. She was born November 14, 1929 in Port Chester to the late Dominick and Anna Carlucci Versace. She was raised and educated in Port Chester. She was married on June 20, 1953 in Port Chester to Mr. Edgar Vitti. Mrs. Vitti was a homemaker and devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She was a volunteer for 15 years at United Hospital and a parishioner of Our Lady of Mercy Church both in Port Chester. Mrs. Vitti is survived by her beloved husband Edgar Vitti of Port Chester, son Robert L. Vitti, M.D. and his wife Alla of Old Tappan, NJ., daughters Elizabeth A. Vitti of Danbury, CT., Lisa Salcuni and husband Paul of Brookfield, CT., and Suzanne Vitti and husband Timothy Lynch of Scarsdale, NY., grandchildren, Erica Salcuni, Paul Salcuni, Nicole Salcuni, Juliana Vitti and Brandon Vitti and brother Joseph Versace of West Palm Beach, FL., She was predeceased by her brothers Frank and William Versace and sisters Filomena Conetta, Lucy Cartisano and Antoinette Lopriore. Mass of Christian Burial will be 9:30AM on Friday July 20, 2018 at Parish of Saint John Bosco (Our Lady of Mercy) 260 Westchester Ave. Port Chester, NY. Entombment to follow at St. Mary's Cemetery Rye Brook, NY. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital, Memphis TN.
