Catherine "Mama Cathy" Andrade

Catherine Andrade, (better known as Mama Cathy), 95, a longtime 50 year resident of Port Chester, NY., died February 18, 2022 at home surrounded by her family.  She was born September 14, 1926 in Jamaica, West Indies to the late Arnold and Amanda Andrade.  She was raised and educated in Jamaica and immigrated to the United States in 1969.  Catherine was a retired nurse's aid.  She was a member of Jehovah's Witnesses from the Port Chester Kingdom Hall.  Catherine is survived by her devoted daughter Zeeris Hinds-Ambrosio, son-in-law Ricardo Ambrosio of Port Chester, NY., her beloved grandson Trevis Hinds, wife Marlene, great grand-daughter, Sierra Hinds of Mount Vernon, NY., her dear great grand-daughter Skye Hinds of Port Chester, NY and sister Nora Wilson and many nieces and nephews of  Jamaica.
