Clement A. Patafio
September 13, 1928-January 10, 2023
It is with deep sorrow and much love that we mourn the death of Clement “Clem” A. Patafio. He passed away peacefully on January 10, 2023 at Greenwich Hospital and has joined his wife Nettie. Clem was born on September 13, 1928 in Port Chester, New York the son of Maria (Cardillo) and Salvatore Patafio. After graduating from Port Chester High School, he proudly served in the US Army. He had a long career at the US Postal Service retiring as Vehicle Manager.
He is survived by his daughter Joy, son Clem (Jennifer) and two beloved granddaughters Sarah (Matt) and Caroline, his sister-in-law Ann Mutino and many nieces, nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews.
In addition to his parents and wife, he is predeceased by his brothers Anthony, Romulo, Umberto, and his sister Jenny Patafio Muto.
Clem will be remembered for always having a smile on his face and a kind word for everyone he met. Though he will be missed we know how lucky and fortunate we were to have him in our lives for as long as we did.
The family wishes to extend their deepest gratitude to Dr. Sunil Rana for his endless attention and compassion, to Mary O’Reilly for her loving care, and to Daymara Gonzalez for her kindness.
A Mass of Christian Burial will take place 10AM on Saturday January 14, 2023 at the Church of the Resurrection 910 Boston Post Rd Rye, New York. Interment to follow at Greenwood Union Cemetery Rye, NY
