Concetta "Tina" G. Polistina, 88, a longtime resident of Port Chester died April 16, 2022. She was born August 20, 1933 in White Plains, NY to the late Luigi and Rose Latella Tripodi. She was raised in Port Chester and graduated from high school in Italy. Tina was married August 20, 1950 at Our Lady of Mercy Church in Port Chester to Rocco Polistina. Mr. Polistina died December 2, 2015. She was employed for over 20 years in the patent office of American Cyanmid. She was also a homemaker and a devoted wife and mother and was a parishioner of the Our Lady of Mercy Church in Port Chester. Mrs. Polistina is survived by her beloved children Godfrey J. Polistina of Port Chester, NY., Dean C. Polistina and his wife Mary Anne of Greenwich, CT., and Rose P. Wickwire and her husband Peter of Avada, CO. and Stamford, CT. and her 9 grandchildren Jessica, Francesca, Sophia, Peter "P.J.", Christopher, Stephen, Carly, Grace and Maggie. Besides her husband she was predeceased by her brother Carmelo Tripodi.
Visitation will be 4-7PM on Sunday April 24, 2022 at Craft Memorial Home, Inc. Mass of Christian Burial will be 12 Noon on Monday April 25, 2022 at Saint Paul's RC Church 84 Sherwood Ave. Greenwich, CT. Entombment to follow at Saint Mary's Cemetery Rye Brook, NY.
