Domenica Lofaro

Domenica Lofaro, a long time resident of Rye Brook, passed away peacefully on Sunday, June 7, 2026.  She was born in Scilla, Reggio Calabria, Italy.  She immigrated to the United States with her family in 1970.

She is survived by her Brother Rocco and sister-in-law Francesca (Cambareri) and her nephews and nieces, Joseph Lofaro, Joanna Ruano (Carlos), Maria Lofaro, Antonette Lofaro and Frank Lofaro. Great niece Layla Reit and great nephews Benjamin Reit, Carlos Antonio and Nicholas Ruano. She is also survived by many cousins both in Italy and in the United States.

She is predeceased by her parents Giuseppe and Giovanna (Lagana).

Family and friends are invited to Craft Memorial Home for visitation on Wednesday, June 10,2026 from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 9:30AM on Thursday June 11, 2026 at Our Lady of Mercy Church 260 Westchester Ave. Port Chester, NY. Entombment to follow at Saint Mary's Cemetery Rye Brook, NY
