Domenick "Shave" Cervi

Domenick "Shave" Cervi, Sr., 86 a resident of Rye Brook, NY died December 22, 2023. He was born June 11, 1937 in Port Chester, NY. to the late Ernesto and Carmela DeMarco Cervi. He was raised and educated in Port Chester graduating from Port Chester High School in 1956.  Domenick was married May 11, 1958 to Theresa Ciancuillo at Corpus Christi Church in Port Chester, NY. 

He was a retired employee of the Village of Port Chester Highway and Parks Department having retired in 1992.

Domenick was a 62 year member of the Putnam Engine & Hose Company #2 and a past captain, president and treasurer.

He was a devoted parishioner of the Corpus Christi Church and was an usher.  He was also a member of the Port Chester Old Timers and Port Chester Bocci League.  Domenick was a semi-professional musician in the tri-state area.  He was a standout in football and baseball.

He is survived by his beloved wife Theresa Cervi of Rye Brook, NY, son Domenick Cervi, Jr. of White Plains, NY., sisters Anna DeMarco of Rye Brook, NY and Ida Petrone of Cos Cob, Ct. and many nieces and nephews. 

He was predeceased by his brothers Raymond and Ernest Cervi and sister Millie Stingone.

Visitation will be 9:00AM-10:30AM on Saturday December 30, 2023 at Craft Memorial Home, Inc.  Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11AM at Corpus Christi Church 136 South Regent St. Port Chester, NY. Interment to follow at Saint Mary's Cemetery Rye Brook, NY
