Dorothy Ruth (Errigo) Pye

Dorothy Ruth Errigo Pye, 93, a longtime resident of Port Chester, NY died May 16, 2022. She was born July 23, 1928 in Port Chester to the late Frank and Amanda Ahern Errigo. She was raised and educated in Port Chester graduating from Port Chester High School in 1946.  Dorothy was a teacher's aide at  Cerebral Palsy of Westchester in White Plains, NY. She had worked at United Hospital in Port Chester, NY and Korvett's in Pelham Manor, NY. She was a devoted mother and grandmother and would do anything for her family.  She is survived by her beloved children Adelaide Miserendino and her husband JP of North Haven, CT., Alice Jensen of Mahopac, NY., Fordyce Pye and his wife Susanne of New Rochelle, NY. and Dorothy Mary Pye of Mount Vernon, NY., 10 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.  She was predeceased by her brothers Dean Errigo, John Errigo, Frank Errigo and Robert Errigo and sister Natalie Pierre. A funeral service will be held 12noon on Thursday May 19, 2022 at Craft Memorial Home, Inc.  Interment to follow at Saint Mary's Cemetery Rye Book, NY
