Dr. Ernest Avallone

Dr. Ernest Joseph Avallone, age 78, of Huntington,  passed away October 9, 2018 in his home. He was born in Port Chester, NY, son of the late Ernest and Stella Avallone. While parenting his three young children and working full-time, he received his doctorate in Psychology from Boston University.  He loved photography, vacationing in Florida and spending time with his beloved Old English sheep dogs. He is survived by his devoted wife of 55 years, Lorraine Crago Avallone; three loving daughters Tammy Harrell, Kimberly Avallone and Aimee Avallone and six cherished grandchildren Cody, Gabrielle, Carter, Aidan, Avery, and Graceyn. He was predeceased by his sister Anne Avallone. 
Visitation will be 9:00AM on Friday October 12, 2018 at Craft Memorial Home, Inc.  Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 10Am at St. Paul's RC Church 84 Sherwood Ave. Greenwich, CT, Interment to follow at St. Mary's Cemetery Rye Brook, NY.
