He was a member of the Knights of Columbus and he was a parishioner of Our Lady of Mercy Church. Edgar enthusiastically followed sports like boxing, football, and, especially baseball, rooting every season for the NY Mets. He was also a lover of music and appreciated listening to opera, as well as to the music of Frank Sinatra. He loved dinners out on the weekend, and enjoyed taking trips to the area casinos. In addition to his wife, he was preceded in death by his five siblings Louise Colletti, Joseph D. Vitti, Jennie Pierro, Ada Giordano, and Gerard Vitti.
