Fausto G. Chicaiza, 85, a long time resident of Port Chester died July 25, 2021. He was born May 29, 1936 in Ambato, Ecuador to the late Angel and Dolores Lozano Chicaiza. He was raised and educated in Ecuador and immigrated to the United States in 1970. Mr. Chicaiza was a retired painter for the Gannett Suburban Newspapers in White Plains, NY. He was a parishioner of the Parish of Saint John Bosco/Our Lady of Mercy Church. Mr. Chicaiza is survived by his devoted wife Esther Rodriguez Chicaiza of Port Chester, NY., his beloved children Antonio Chicaiza of Port Chester, NY., Ivan Chicaiza of Hillsdale, NY., Margarita Maldonado and her husband Jose of Claverack, NY. and Maria Chicaiza of Hillsdale, NY., grandchildren Anthony Chicaiza, Jose Maldonado, Jr., Ivan Chicaiza, Jr., Crystal Campbell, Joshua Campbell, Sophia Brito, Kevin Barrientos and Christian Barrientos, Son-in-law Rufino Barrientos of Bridgeport, CT., brother Galo Chicaiza of Ecuador and sister Inez Chicaiza of Ecuador and nephew Robert Chicaiza of Greenwich, CT. He was predeceased by his daughter Guadalupe Barrientos on October 8, 2008.
Visitation will be 5-7PM on Thursday July 29, 2021 at Craft Memorial Home, Inc. Mass of Christian Burial will be 9:30AM on Friday July 30, 2021 at Parish of St John Bosco (Our Lady of Mercy) 260 Westchester Ave. Port Chester, NY. Entombment to follow at Saint Mary's Cemetery Rye Brook, NY.
