Filomena (Marciano) Cassone

Filomena Cassone, 84, a resident of Rye Brook, NY passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family.  She was born May 26, 1936 in Villa San Giovanni, Italy to the late Pasquale and Maria Cicco Marciano.  She was raised and educated in Italy. Mrs. Cassone was married on September 16, 1959 to Rocco Cassone in Italy. Mr. Cassone died November 29, 2008.  She was a retired employee of SUNY Purchase.  Mrs. Cassone was a devoted parishioner of Corpus Christi Church in Port Chester.  She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother and is survived by her children Anthony Cassone and his wife Maria of Rye Brook, NY. and daughter Joanne Cassone partner Edward Sadowy of Stratford, CT., grandchildren Jenny Gonzalez, Bernardo Gonzalez, Joseph Cassone and Anthony R. Cassone and great granddaughter Maddison Molina.  She is also survived by her sister Domenica Marciano of Italy and brother Anthony Marciano of New Rochelle, NY.  Besides her husband she was predeceased by her brothers Joseph and Domenico Marciano.
Visitation will be 8:30am to 9:30am on Wednesday January 13, 2021 at Craft Memorial Home, Inc.  Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 10AM at Parish of Saint John Bosco Church (Corpus Christi) 136 South Regent St. Port Chester, NY. Entombment to follow at St. Mary's Cemetery North St. Greenwich, Ct.
In lieu of flowers memorial donation's in memory of Filomena Cassone may be made to the Calvary Home Hospice 1740 Eastchester Rd. Bronx, NY 10461
