Filomena (DeMarco) Valentini

Filomena Valentini, 93, a resident of Port Chester passed away peacefully November 4, 2022.  She was born on January 22, 1929 in San Pietro, Provincia Frosinone, Italy to the late Luigi and Maria Santangelo DeMarco. She immigrated to the United States in 1968. Filomena was married on February 24, 1952 to Gennaro Valentini in Italy.  She was a homemaker, she enjoyed cooking and baking, welcome everyone to sit and eat when they visited her.  She enjoyed being with her family  her grandchildren and great grandchildren were her greatest treasures. She was special to everyone that knew her.  She was a parishioner of the Corpus Christi Church,  devoted to San Antonio and Padre Pio who she prayed daily to.  
Mrs. Valentini is survived by her husband Gennaro Valentini of Port Chester, NY., her daughter Anna Maria Valente and her husband Mauricio of Rye Brook, NY., and son Carmine Valentini and his wife Anna of Pembroke Pines, Fl.  grandchildren Mauro Valentini, Monica Harriss, Viviana Valentini and Marco Valente and 6 great grandchildren.  She was predeceased by her brothers Lelio DeMarco, Carmine DeMarco and Mario DeMarco. She will be greatly missed by her family who loved her very much. 

Visitation will be 4-8PM om Sunday November 6, 2022 at Craft Memorial Home, Inc.  Mass of Christian Burial will be 10AM on Monday November 7, 2022 at Parish of Saint John Bosco (Corpus Christi) 136 South Regent St. Port Chester, NY. Entombment to follow at Saint Mary's Cemetery Rye Brook, NY
