Frances (DiRollo) Margiotta

Frances Margiotta, 90, a longtime resident of Port Chester, NY, died June 9, 2022 surrounded by her loving family. She was born April 11, 1932 in Mamaroneck, NY to the late Pietro and Theresa Cerasi DiRollo. She was raised and educated in Mamaroneck, graduating from Mamaroneck High School in 1949.  On March 25, 1951 she was married to Peter Margiotta. Mr. Margiotta died December 29, 2004.  Mrs. Margiotta was an insurance representative for the Austin & Merritt Insurance Agency in Port Chester, NY. Frances was an avid bowler and enjoyed cooking for her family, crocheting, and reading.

She is survived by her children, Suzanne Barker of Port Chester, NY, Stephanie Farnlacher and her husband Troy of Hoover, AL, Carol Kalayjian of West Harrison, NY, and Peter Margiotta and his wife Mary Ann of LaPlata, MD; grandchildren Sara Margiotta, Melissa Margiotta, Joseph Harrison, Cynthia Robinson, Stephen Kalayjian, Alexandra Kalayjian, Nathan Farnlacher, Hannah Farnlacher and Emma Farnlacher; great grandson Brian Robinson; sisters Filomena LaRusso of Norwalk, CT, and Mary Farley and husband Richard of Pittsfield, MA. Besides her husband she was predeceased by her brothers Angelo DiRollo, Thomas DiRollo, James DiRollo, and Joseph DiRollo and sister Gloria Tocci.
A Memorial Mass will be held 12:00 noon on Saturday July 9, 2022 at Saint Paul Roman Catholic Church, 84 Sherwood Ave. Greenwich, CT.  Memorial donations in memory of Mrs. Margiotta may be made to the Saint Jude's Children's Research Hospital, Memphis, TN.
