Francesca (Barresi) Tedesco

Francesca Tedesco, 91, a longtime resident of Port Chester died May 29, 2026. She was born July 9, 1934 in Villa San Giovanni, Italy to the late Salvatore and Domenica Lagana Barresi.  She was raised and educated in Italy.

Francesca was married on June 27, 1966 in Italy to Santo Tedesco. Mr. Tedesco died June 27, 2010

Francesca was a seamstress for Kay Chester Dress Company in Port Chester and then for Razooks Clothing Store in Greenwich, Ct. 

She was a longtime parishioner of the Parish of Saint John Bosco.

She is survived by her brother Joseph Barresi of Port Chester, NY., her beloved nieces and nephew Mimma Hewlitt and her husband Marc of Port Chester, NY., Salvatore Barresi and his wife Alicia of Stamford, Ct. and Barbara Szucs of Bridgeport, CT., great nieces and nephews Harrison Barresi, Emily Hewlitt, Eric Hewlitt, Allison Tripp, Joseph Tripp, Nashon Szucs, Brandon Szucs, Shontelle Szucs, Kayson Szucs, Bella Szucs and Troy Szucs.

Visitation will be 9:30AM to 10:30AM on Friday June 5, 2026 at Craft Memorial Home, Inc. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow 11AM at Church of the Resurrection 910 Boston Post Rd. Rye, NY.  Entombment to follow at Saint Mary's Cemetery Rye Brook, NY.
