Frank J. Calipa, 84, a resident of Greenwich, CT, and formerly of Port Chester, NY died March 25, 2025. Born January 10th, 1941 to the late John Calipa and Mary Lovallo Calipa, Frank was both raised and educated in Port Chester, NY and graduated from Port Chester High School.
Frank was married on April 21st, 1963 to Anne Romanello at Holy Rosary Church in Port Chester. Mr. Calipa was the owner of Frank John’s Hair Salon on Mamaroneck Avenue in White Plains, NY for many years. He retired in 2011. Frank was an avid golfer and reader, passionate about travel and food, and embraced his Italian heritage. He was a devoted husband, father and grandfather.
He is survived by his beloved wife Anne Calipa of Greenwich, CT, his son Daniel J. Calipa and his wife Helen of Montville, NJ, Christopher A. Calipa of Greenwich, CT and Frank J. Calipa, Jr. and his wife Sherry of Danbury, CT, and his grandchildren Lilianna, Alessandra, Valentina, and Lucas. Frank is also survived by his sisters Patricia Cannitello of Port Chester, NY and Deanna Ambrose and her husband Dominic of Port Saint Lucie, FL.
Visitation will be 5-8PM on Friday March 28, 2025 at Craft Memorial Home, Inc. in Port Chester. Mass of Christian Burial will be 12:30PM on Saturday March 29, 2025 at Saint Paul RC Church 84 Sherwood Ave. Greenwich, CT. Interment will be private.
