Frank Caputo, Sr.

Mr. Frank Caputo, Sr., 82, a longtime resident of Rye Brook, N.Y., died peacefully July 22, 2023. He was born June 26, 1941, in Morra deSanctis, Italy to the late Rocco and Concetta Penetta Caputo. Raised and educated in Italy, Mr. Caputo married Vincenza Pennella in Italy on July 17, 1960. immigrating to New York later that same year.  Mr. Caputo was an active member of the community from the beginning, building a landscaping business still active today.  He was a dedicated parishioner of Corpus Christi Church and a member of Port Chester Knights of Columbus, The IAPA and Saint Roch's Society of Greenwich, C.T.

Mr. Caputo is survived by his wife and partner of 62+ years, Vincenza Caputo, of Rye Brook, N.Y., his sons — Rocco and Donna Caputo of Greenwich, C.T., and Frank and Sharon Caputo, Jr., of Port Chester, N.Y. He is also survived by his four grandchildren — Alyssa Caputo and her husband Zak Vonderkall, Victoria Caputo, Cody Caputo and Courtney Caputo.  Mr. Caputo is also predeceased by his only brother Salvatore Caputo. His presence  will be forever missed, but felt for even longer.

Visitation will be 4-8PM on Tuesday, July 25 at Craft Memorial Home, Inc. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 9:30AM on Wednesday July 26, 2023 at Parish of Saint John Bosco  (Our Lady of Mercy) 260 Westchester Ave. Port Chester, NY. Entombment to follow at Saint Mary's Cemetery in Rye Brook, N.Y.
