Frank J Gabriele

Frank James Gabriele, Sr. 97, a resident of Stamford, CT., and former longtime resident of Port Chester, NY died peacefully on March 23, 2024, at home surrounded by his family. He was born February 27, 1927 in Port Chester to the late Dominick and Carmella Fortunata Gabriele. He was raised and educated in Port Chester. Mr. Gabriele served in the United States Army during World War II. He was married January 4, 1948 to Assunta Pignataro. Mrs. Gabriele died April 20, 2021. He was a retired employee for the Village of Port Chester Maintenance Department. Besides his wife, he was predeceased by his sons Frank Gabriele, Jr. and Dominick Gabriele, Linda Gabriele (daughter-in-law) and his siblings Rosie Gabriele, Marie Lamberti, and Sue DeCarlo.
Mr. Gabriele is survived by his sons Joseph Gabriele (Lisa) of Stamford, CT, Robert Gabriele of White Plains, NY and daughter-in-law, Jenette Gabriele of Brookfield, CT.
He has ten grandchildren: Jacki-Lyn Peguero, JoAnne Arnold, Jessica Gabriele, Stephanie Pagnotta, Melissa Daly, Robert Gabriele, Michael Gabriele, Dominick Gabriele, Lindsay Gibson, and Frank Gabriele. Mr. Gabriele is also survived by eighteen great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be private.
