Frank Rizzo

Frank Rizzo, 79, a longtime resident of Port Chester, NY died February 28, 2024 at home surrounded by his family. He was born September 2, 1944 in Cosenza, Calabria, Italy to the late Giuseppe and Maria DeLio Rizzo.  He was raised and educated in Italy and immigrated to the United States in 1966.  Mr. Rizzo was married on January 28, 1973 to Maria Santoro at Corpus Christi Church in Port Chester. He was a carpenter for the Town of Greenwich, Connecticut.  Mr. Rizzo was a parishioner of the Our Lady of Mercy Church in Port Chester and a member of the San Fili Club.

He is survived by his devoted wife Maria Rizzo of Port Chester, NY. and his beloved daughter Stephanie Rizzo Shapiro and her husband James of South Salem, NY., grandchildren Justin and Kayla Shapiro, brother Saverio Rizzo and his wife Joanne of Peekskill, NY., sisters Anna Rizzo Giorno of Stamford, CT. and Elen Rizzo DeMasi of Port Chester, NY.  Mr. Rizzo was predeceased by his sister Lucia Rizzo Scarabelli.

Visitation will be 4-8PM on Friday March 1, 2024 at Craft Memorial Home, Inc.  Mass of Christian Burial will be 10AM on Saturday March 2, 2024 at Saint Paul Catholic Church  84 Sherwood Ave. Greenwich, Ct., Entombment to follow at Saint Mary's Cemetery Rye Brook, NY
