Frank A. "Channy" Ciancuillo, III a lifelong resident of Port Chester, NY died peacefully May 11, 2026 after a courageous battle. He was born June 8, 1967 in Port Chester, NY to Patricia Turner Ciancuillo and the late Frank Ciancuillo, Jr. He was raised and educated in Port Chester graduating from Port Chester High School in 1985. He attended Westchester County Community College.
Channy was a 33 year employee for the Village of Port Chester Department of Sanitation.
He played football at Port Chester High School he was awarded the Most Valuable Player and led Port Chester to beat Rye High School in the 1984 bowl game. While playing football at Westchester County Community College he was chosen for the All Star Championship team. He was also an avid softball player locally and was a 2nd degree black belt.
Channy was a kind and generous friend to all who knew him. He loved music of all genres and had a wealth of knowledge unsurpassed.
He was an avid and devoted fan of both the Boston Red Sox's and the Pittsburgh Steelers.
He loved his nieces and nephews immensely and loved his trips to Arizona and LBI with his family.
He is survived by his beloved mother Patricia Ciancuillo of Rye, NY., his beloved brother and sister Mark Ciancuillo and his wife Leslie of Greenwich, Ct. and Tina Banahan and her husband John of Rye Brook, NY and his dear nieces and nephews Brooke Banahan, John James Banahan, Gianna Ciancuillo, Anthony Ciancuillo and Grace Ciancuillo.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10AM on Saturday May 23, 2026 at Corpus Christi Church 136 South Regent St. Port Chester, NY
There will be no visitation.
