Gerald A. Passerino, 82, a resident of Rye, NY died on July 11, 2025. He was born on November 3, 1942 in the Bronx, NY to the late Anthony and Carmella (Provenza) Passerino. He was raised and educated in the Bronx. Jerry was married on July 14, 1974, in Rye, NY to the late Sharon M. McConway until her death on February 21, 2021.
Jerry served in the Army for six years receiving an honorable discharge in 1963. He was an electrical engineer and was the owner of Pass Planners, Inc. of Rye, NY.
He was also a diehard Mets fan and an avid reader.
Jerry, known as Poppy to those who loved him, is survived by his beloved daughters Gina Love and her husband Jerry of Manhasset, NY; Lisa DeCrescenzo and her husband Jules of Rye, NY; Lori Berisford and her husband John of Ridgefield, CT, and grandchildren, Michael Love (spouse Daria), Erin Love, Matthew Love, Dana Matozzo (spouse Vito), Gina Renaldo (spouse John), Lane Berisford and Liza Berisford; and great grandchildren Aidan Matozzo, Gavin Matozzo, Avery Matozzo, Kyle Renaldo, Jack Renaldo and Luke Renaldo.
A memorial gathering will be held Friday July 25, 2025, from 3:00pm to 6:00pm at Craft Memorial Home, Inc.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations in memory of Mr. Passerino may be made to the American Heart Association, PO Box 840692, Dallas, TX 75284 or the Shriners Hospital for Children 2900 North Rocky Point Drive, Tampa, FL 33607.
