Giovanna "Joanne" (Accurso) Giordano

Giovanna "Joanne" Giordano, 87 a resident of Port Chester died May 25, 2020. She was born October 2, 1932 in Italy to the late Vincenzo and Natalina Messina Accurso. She moved to the United States after the second Wworld war and became a lifelong resident of Port Chester.  She was married to Lorenzo Giordano on November 1954 at Corpus Christi Church. Mr. Giordano died May 24, 2019. She was a homemaker and a parishioner of the Corpus Christi Church. Mrs. Giordano is survived by her beloved children Anna M. Paccione and husband Robert of Vorhees, NJ,  Dominick A. Giordano and partner Michael A. Helbig of New York City, NY, and Vincent Giordano and wife Bonnie of Armonk, NY, grandchildren Vanessa Paccione, Robert Paccione, Kimberly Fox, Alexander Grim, Andrew Giordano, Thomas Giordano, Steve Giordano and Nicholas Giordano, great grandsons William Fox, Noah Daddis and Nicholas Fox.  Besides her husband she was predeceased by her brothers Dominick and Frank Accurso. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital. Due to the current Pandemic all funeral services are private.  A memorial service will be announced at a later date.
