Giovanni Papasergio Obituary


Giovanni Papasergio, 80, a resident of White Plains, NY died March 15, 2022. He was born May 12, 1941 in Delianova, Calabria, Italy to the late Guiseppe and Fortunata Versace Papasergio.  He was raised and educated in Italy and immigrated to the United States at the age of 16. He served in the United States Navy.    Mr. Papasergio was a retired construction worker in New York City and was a member of the Mason and Tenders District Council Union in New York City.  He was married to the late Florence Marciano Papasergio. Mrs. Papasergio died July 13, 2017.  He is survived by his sons Joseph Papasergio and John Papasergio, Jr., daughter Angela Papasergio Driggs and her husband Frank, and granddaughter Gianna Driggs all of White Plains, NY.  Besides his wife he was predeceased by his brothers Domenico Papasergio and Pasquale Papasergio.
Visitation will be 4-8PM on Wednesday March 23, 2022 at Craft Memorial Home, Inc. Mass of Christian Burial will be 9:30 AM on Thursday March 24, 2022 at Parish of Saint John Bosco (Our Lady of Mercy) 360 Westchester Ave. Port Chester, NY. Interment to follow at Saint Mary's Cemetery Rye Brook, NY.
