Gregory Paterno

Gregory Paterno, 61, of Bedford, NY passed on May 22, 2020 from the COVID19 virus. He was born in Bronx, NY on August 7, 1958, youngest of two boys and son of Victor F. Paterno and Lucille (Toronto) Paterno. He grew up in Yonkers, NY and graduated from Lincoln High School in 1976. He went on to Manhattan College where he received his Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering in 1980 and then his Masters of Engineering degree in 1985. He was employed by Paterno Contracting until 1996, then joined Tully Construction as a Project Manager, where he had been employed for the past 24 years. Greg married Susan (Gorman) Paterno on November 20, 1993 and they have resided in Bedford, NY for the past 26 years. Greg will be remembered by family and friends as warmhearted, generous and kind and was loved by all that knew him. He is survived by his wife, Susan Paterno, of Bedford, NY, his brother Victor F. Paterno, Jr. of Rye Brook, NY, nephews Victor J. Paterno of Brooklyn, NY, Brett J. Paterno of Chappaqua, NY and niece Jenna L. Paterno of New York City.
