Halina Janeczko, 91, was born April 24, 1929 in Dolna Grupa, Poland. On Wednesday, April 29th, 2020, she passed away peacefully in the comfort of her home, in Port Chester, New York. Halina was predeceased by her husband, Hilary Janeczko, on April 12th 2020. Halina was a wonderful and loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She was devout to her faith, belonged to the Polish Church and participated in the Rosary Circle. She believed deeply in the Divine Mercy Chaplet, which she prayed every day at 3pm.
Halina is survived by her two children, Halina E. Menifield and Bernard Janeczko (Jean Brooks); four granddaughters Amanda M. Menifield (Jimmie Ricks), Amber M. Menifield, Katie Janeczko, and Eileen Kemp (Christopher Kemp); three great-grandchildren, Aleksander Ricks, Everett Kemp, Jaxson Ricks; many nieces and nephews. She truly had a pure heart, cared for all of those around her and enjoyed her time in her garden.
