Helen I (Romaniello) Pagniello

Helen I. Pagniello, 90, a longtime resident of Port Chester, NY died June 2, 2023. She was born March 8, 1933 in Stamford, CT. to the late Nicholas and Corubina (Mamie) Martina Romaniello. She was raised and educated in Stamford graduating from Stamford High School and then attending business school.  Helen was married in Stamford to Thomas Pagniello on May 17, 1958. Mr. Pagniello died January 12, 1991. Helen was a homemaker and a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She was active with the Rye Senior Citizens and the Port Chester Senior Citizens groups.  Helen was an avid gardener, sewer and baker. One of her favorite things to do was to host the holidays for her family, covering every detail (soup to nuts). Some of her fondest memories was spending summer vacations with her children and grandchildren. She is survived by her beloved children Thomas Pagniello, Jr. and his wife Trish of Hopewell Junction, NY., Robert Pagniello, Sr. and his wife Tina of Danbury, CT., and Marie Heller and her husband Douglas of Patterson, NY., grandchildren Robert Pagniello, Jr. and his wife, Jackie, Joseph Pagniello and Christopher Heller.  Besides her husband she was predeceased by her brothers William, Jim, Dominick, Nicholas, James and Michael Romaniello and sister Nellie Romaniello.
Visitation will be 5-8 PM on Friday June 9, 2023 at Craft Memorial Home, Inc, Funeral Service will be 9:00 AM on Saturday June 10, 2023 at the funeral home. Interment to follow at Saint John's Cemetery Darien, CT.
