Helen F  " Mitzie" Foster
With her family at her side, Helen Foster peacefully passed away on September 15,2021. She succumbed to a long term illness.  She was born in Greenwich, Ct, to Maude Merritt and Robert E Foster, on May, 24,1927. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her siblings, Robert E ( Babe) Foster,, Ruth Foster, and  Joanne Goode. " Mitzie", as she was known as, was educated in the Greenwich school system , before relocating to Port Chester. She was a long time employee in the nutrition unit at the former United Hospital, from where she retired.
She is survived by her very devoted sons, Jerome Foster, and Darrell Foster of Port Chester. Her son Harold predeceased her in 2007. Also surviving are her daughter in law Delois Leggett, her grand daughter Kamesha Foster, great grandson Chance, and a large extended family who will miss her very much.
Visitation will be 4-8PM on Friday September 24, 2021 at Craft Memorial Home, Inc. 40 Leicester St. Port Chester, NY. Funeral Service will be 9:30AM on Saturday September 25, 2021 at the funeral home. Interment to follow at Greenwood Union Cemetery Rye, NY
