Irena (Boruch) Maczuga

Irena Maczuga, 82, a longtime resident of Port Chester died May 11, 2021. She was born in Poland to the late Stanislaw and Czeslawa Deptula Boruch.  Mrs. Maczuga was married September 19, 1964 at Sacred Heart of Jesus Church to Mr. Bernard Maczuga. Mr. Maczuga died May 7, 2007.  She was an accounting manager for Prudential Relocation in Valhalla, NY.  Mrs. Maczuga was a parishioner of the Sacred Heart of Jesus Church in Port Chester and a member of the Polish United Club in Port Chester.  She is survived by her son Marek Maczuga and his wife Patricia of Greenwich, CT., son in law Dr. Edward Desvernine of Rye Brook, NY., brother Mieczyslaw Boruch and his wife Teresa of Port Chester, NY and sister Maryla Rak of Rock Hill, SC., grandchildren Megan Maczuga, Christopher Maczuga, Dylan Desvernine and Brandon Desvernine.  Besides her husband she was predeceased by her daughter Joanna Desvernine on May 20, 2011.
Visitation will be 3-5PM on Sunday May 16, 2021 at Craft Memorial Home, Inc.  Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30AM on Monday May 17, 2021 at Saint Paul RC Church 84 Sherwood Ave. Greenwich, Ct. Interment to follow at Saint Mary's Cemetery Rye Brook, NY.
