Irlanda (Chiriguayo) Carranza

Irlanda Carranza, 78, a resident of Port Chester, NY died October 12, 2021 in California. She was born November 21, 1942 in Guayaquil, Ecuador to the late Victor Chiriguayo and Albina Pino Chiriguayo. Mrs. Carranza was the widow of the Victor Carranza who died in 1984.  She was a seamstress for the Kay Chester Dress Company in Port Chester. She was also a small business owner for many years in Port Chester owning and operating Clothes with Elegance on Westchester Ave.  Mrs. Carranza is survived by her sons, Harry Vera of Yonkers, NY., Victor Carranza of Long Beach, CA., and Alexander and his partner Lydia Perez of Port Chester, NY., grandchildren Israel Carranza and Mia Carranza.
Visitation will be 4-8PM on Friday October 22, 2021 at Craft Memorial Home, Inc.  Mass of Christian Burial will be 9:30AM on Saturday October 23, 2021 at Parish of Saint John Bosco (Corpus Christi) 136 South Regent St. Port Chester, NY. Entombment to follow at Saint Mary's Cemetery Rye Brook, NY.
