Jenny (Patafio) Muto

Giovanna “Jenny” Muto (Patafio), 87, a resident of Greenwich, CT and formerly of Port Chester,
NY died peacefully at home on June 11, 2022. Jenny was born on January 24, 1935 in Scilla,
Calabria, Italy to the late Salvatore and Maria Cardillo Patafio. She was the beloved wife of
George Muto who predeceased her on March 29, 2010. Jenny was raised and educated in Port Chester graduating with honors from Port Chester High School in 1952. She began her career with American Cyanamid in Stamford, CT. She then found her passion when she became a real estate agent in 1967. Jenny went on to become a real estate broker in Westchester and Fairfield counties and founded Sound Shore Realty. Her husband George joined her in her business after his retirement. She continued to sell homes into her late 70s. If she could, she’d still be selling real estate to this day. Jenny was a parishioner of Holy Rosary Church and was dedicated to Pro Life causes. She is survived by her loving children, Maria (Bill) Waterman of Orinda, CA., Angela (Ken Foreman) Muto of New York, NY, George (Wendy) Muto, Jr. of Port Chester, NY; Gina (Tom) Edwards of New Fairfield, CT., Teresa Muto Stagg of Walnut Creek, CA; Jennifer (Carmine) Boccarossa of Port Chester, NY. Jenny’s pride and joy were her eight grandchildren David Muto, Sarah Stagg, Nicholas Stagg, Katie Edwards, Allison Edwards, Kristen Edwards, Michael Boccarossa and Emily Boccarossa. She is survived by her brother Clement Patafio of Rye Brook, NY. In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by her brothers Anthony, Umberto and Romolo Patafio. Jenny also leaves behind her beloved dog and constant companion, Jack.
Visitation will be 4-8 PM on Wednesday, June 15, 2022 at Craft Memorial Home, 40 Leicester St., Port Chester, NY. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10 AM on Thursday. June 16, 2022 at Parish of Saint John Bosco (Our Lady of Mercy) 260 Westchester Ave. Port Chester, NY. Interment to follow at Saint Mary's Cemetery Rye Brook, NY
