Joan Hanley

Joan Hanley, 89, a lifelong resident of Port Chester died September 19, 2021. She was born August 4, 1932 in Port Chester to the late James and Julia Hanley. She was raised and educated in Port Chester graduating from Our Lady of Mercy School and Port Chester High School.  Joan worked for many years for McBee Systems, Rosen & Bardunias and was employed for many years as a legal secretary for Dougherty, Dougherty & Vecchiolla of Greenwich, Connecticut.  She was a devoted parishioner of Our Lady of Mercy Church in Port Chester.  Joan is survived by her extended family Barbara Flanagan of Port Chester, NY, John Flanagan and his wife Tricia and their children Morgan and Shane of New Rochelle, NY.  She was predeceased by her sister Mary Hanley in 2003.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10am Friday September 24, 2021 at Saint Paul RC Church 84 Sherwood Ave. Greenwich, CT. Interment to follow at Saint Mary's Cemetery Rye Brook, NY.
