Joan A. (Rupp) Rappaport

Joan Rappaport, sadly passed away at the age of 85 on July 19, 2023
She was a longtime resident of Port Chester and worked for the Telephone Company for
many years before retiring. She was one of the most thoughtful persons I have ever known. No matter what she was going through at any given time, her concern was never for herself but always for everyone
else. She enjoyed getting up early each morning and feeding the birds and squirrels. This gave her great joy which she always looked forward to. She was a kind and loving person and will truly be missed by everyone that truly knew her.
She was born to Nellie and Anthony Rupp (both deceased), survived by her children Annice Owen (Drew King), Lisa Rossini (Raymond), Daniel Rappaport (Christine), Joseph Rappaport (deceased). Also survived by her sisters Susan Saline (Phil), Rachel Shiboski (John), other siblings pre-deceased are Butch, Carol and Peter all Rupp’s and Beth Giacco (Ritchie). She is also survived by her grandchildren D.J. (Desiree), Stephen (Erica), Leonardo,
Jeffrey (Sarah) all Rappaport’s, Timothy Owen and Stephanie Nicholetti. She is also survived by 17 nieces and nephews.
A memorial gathering will be held 1:00pm to 5:00pm on Wednesday July 26, 2023 at Craft Memorial Home, Inc. 40 Leicester Street Port Chester, NY
