Joanne (Lopresti) Piazza

Joanne Piazza, 90, a longtime resident of Port Chester, NY died November 7, 2023. She was born May 21, 1933 in San Giovanni, Italy to the late Giuseppe and Antoinetta Lopresti.   

A strong and fiercely independent woman grounded in her Catholic faith, she was a wonderful and devoted wife, a selfless caretaker of her sons, and a loyal and kind soul to all her family, friends and neighbors. 

Mrs. Piazza is survived by her son Vincent Piazza and his wife Barbara. She was predeceased by her husband Luigi, her youngest son Gino and her sisters Rachele and Caterina.

Visitation will be held 3-7PM on Sunday November 12, 2023 at Craft Memorial Home 40 Leicester St. Port Chester, NY. Mass of Christian Burial will be 11AM on Monday November 13, 2023 at Saint Paul Roman Catholic Church 84 Sherwood Ave. Greenwich, CT. Rite of Committal to follow at Saint Mary's Cemetery, 399 North St. Greenwich, CT.
