John A Lucas

John A. Lucas, 85, a resident of Rye Brook, NY passed away February 11, 2023. He was born in Yonkers,
NY to the late John and Julia Hingyos Lucas. Raised and educated in Yonkers, NY he went on to obtain a
degree from Iona College and trained and served in the Army Reserve. He married Jacqueline Cicerello
in 1962. He enjoyed his family, travelling the world, golf and good food. He was a successful salesman
until his retirement in 2000. He was a faithful parishioner of Corpus Christi Church, serving as an usher
for many years. He is survived by his beloved wife Jacqueline and his children, grand children and great
grandchildren. “Pops,” we love you and will miss your kind and gentle ways. Your spirit will live on in all
of us for eternity. Donations can be made to the Covenant House, a charity dear to John.
