John M O'Donovan

John M. O'Donovan, 85, formerly of Rye, NY and later of  Roxbury, NY son of Nora Carney O'Donovan and John Hughes O'Donovan passed away April 19, 2019 at the New York State Veterans Home at Montrose, NY. He was born January 14, 1934.
John graduated from Resurrection School in Rye, NY and Blessed Sacrament High School in New Rochelle, NY. He enlisted in the United States Air Force during the Korean War.
He is survived by his sister Mary O'Donoghue of Rye Brook, NY, his nephew John O'Donoghue of Randolph, NJ, his nieces Mary Ellen O'Donoghue of Rye, NY, and Lori Ann O'Donoghue of Rye Brook, NY.
There will be no visitation. A mass of Christian Burial will be held 10am on Saturday April 27, 2019 at Church of the Resurrection Boston Post Rd Rye, NY. Interment to follow at Saint Mary's Cemetery Rye Brook, NY. Memorial donations in memory of Mr. O'Donovan may be made to the New York State Veterans Home 2090 Albany Post Rd Montrose, NY 10548
