John Tutera

John Tutera, 79, a lifelong resident of Port Chester, NY., died March 27, 2024 at home surrounded by his family. He was born April 18, 1944 in Port Chester to the late Joseph and Josephine Carrieri Tutera.  He was raised and educated in Port Chester. John was married April 19, 1970 in Port Chester to Barbara Gentile.

He was a retired custodian for the Port Chester Public School System and then worked for the Village of Rye Brook Police Department as a school crossing guard.

John is survived by his beloved wife Barbara Tutera of Port Chester, NY., sister Julie Vita and her husband Joseph, of Port Chester, NY and brother Joseph Tutera and wife JoAnn of Port Chester, NY., and several nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephew.

Funeral Services will be private.
