Joseph W. Masi, 89, a resident of Vero Beach, Fl and formerly of Port Chester, NY passed away peacefully in Indian River Hospital in Vero Beach, Fl. He was born June 29, 1933 in Port Chester to the late Joseph Masi, Sr. and Helen Pazona Masi. Joseph was raised and educated in Port Chester and graduated from Port Chester High School in 1951. He was married to Betty Lou Bushnell on October 21, 1962. He was a superintendent for Port Chester Electric and later was a business owner of Stop and Go Transmission Shop in Port Chester. Joseph was a member of the IBEW, Byram Vets, American Legion and a longtime member of the Port Chester Yacht Club. He loved boating, fishing, model airplanes and dancing.
Joseph is survived by his beloved wife Betty Lou Masi of Vero Beach, FL., his dear children Marcel Magee and her husband Roy of Port Chester, NY., Michael Masi and his wife Lauren of Stamford, CT., Bruce Masi of Port Chester, NY., Christopher Masi and his wife Susan of Terryville, CT. and Deborah Masi of Old Greenwich, CT.
grandchildren Shelly Magee-Caruso, Emily Magee, Matthew Masi, Jessica Masi and Rebecca Masi, great grandchildren, Thomas Caruso and one on the way.
Visitation will be 4-8PM on Friday January 27, 2023 at Craft Memorial Home, Inc. Mass of Christian Burial will be 9:30am on Saturday January 28, 2023 at Parish of Saint John Bosco (Corpus Christi) 136 South Regent St. Port Chester, NY. Interment to follow at Greenwood Union Cemetery North St. Rye, NY
