Joseph Alfred Pinto, 83, of Rye, NY died September 18, 2022. He was born October 9, 1938 in Port Chester to the late Michael and Mildred Lupo Pinto. Joe was a retired plumber.
Beloved husband of the late Eileen Pinto. Devoted father of Dawn Plantz (Tom) of Holbrook, NY., Joseph J. Pinto (Sheree) of New Windsor, NY., Stacy Celli (John) of Newtown, CT. and Daniel Pinto of Port Chester, NY. Also survived by eight grandchildren, Ryan Plantz, (Maggie), Justin Plantz, Johnny Celli, Devon Pinto, Eileen Celli, Samantha Celli, Paige Pinto, Katie Celli, and one great grandchild Delaney Plantz. He is also survived by his sister Connie Petrillo of Naples, FL.
Joseph loved football and the high school where he played at Rye High School. He was a star athlete #61 which Rye High School retired his number in his honor. He also loved sports and old musical trivia, especially Patsy Cline and The Platters. Joe cherished the time spent with family and friends, he was a wonderful father and companion.
Visitation will be 2:00PM-3:30PM on Wednesday September 21, 2022 at Craft Memorial Home, Inc. Funeral service will follow 3:30 at the funeral home. Interment will be private
